Cris2

Cris Valerio comes to IDEO.org from financial journalism, where she first witnessed the power of design in social enterprise.

For years, Cris has followed the markets in the US, Latin America, and Europe as a reporter for Bloomberg Television. Memorable interviews include Henry Kissinger, Bolivian President Evo Morales, and Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg.

Cris has also hosted Bloomberg’s small-business and entrepreneurship show, Venture, where she interviewed the founders of Acumen Fund, Method, Patagonia, Seventh Generation, and other leading-edge enterprises.

Cris is enthusiastic about applying the skills she developed covering financial markets to social enterprise. She may or may not enjoy rock-climbing whenever possible.
