The American Refugee Committee (ARC), working with IDEO.org and an expansive network of partners, committed to launching the "Social Enterprise Platform for Child Survival and Maternal Health" in the South Kivu province of the Democratic Republic of Congo. 

IDEO.org is helping ARC design a scalable model for social enterprises addressing health, water, and nutrition, so that local entrepreneurs can be profitable in low-resource settings.
